Keep your business and customer data safe when you use AI.

Every AI tool handles your data differently. Most won’t tell you plainly. We will.

About us

AI Tool Privacy is a small research lab in the Pacific Northwest. David Michaelson, MS, leads our team. He holds undergraduate degrees in history and philosophy from Gonzaga University, and graduate degrees in theology and business administration (MS) from The Catholic University of America. Our work is guided by Magnifica Humanitas, Pope Leo XIV’s letter on keeping people at the center of AI.

What guides us

  • Human accountability. A person makes every decision that affects customers, employees, or finances, and owns it. We never hand those decisions to AI.
  • Verification. We check AI output for accuracy and bias before anyone uses it or shares it.
  • Careful with data. We limit the personal data AI tools can see, and we guard what we keep.
  • Support, not replacement. We use AI to cut routine work and support your staff, never to replace them.

AI is a tool. People stay in charge.

Informed in part by Magnifica Humanitas (2026), Pope Leo XIV’s letter on keeping people at the center of AI.
