Is Lovable safe for business data?
Since September 9, 2026, Lovable may use Free and Pro content to train its AI unless you opt out; Business and Enterprise content is not used, and your app’s customer data is never used.

How to turn training off
- Open Account settings > Preferences > AI model training and turn off “Use my Lovable content for model training.” Source: docs.lovable.dev
Safer setup for a small team
Turn off “Use my Lovable content for model training” on every Free or Pro account before building anything for clients.
Plan to approve: Lovable Business, or Pro with training off
Setting to check: “Use my Lovable content for model training” off
A line for your AI policy: Staff build with Lovable only on Business, or on Pro with model training turned off. No customer data is pasted into prompts.
