Safer setup for a small team

Keep the books in QuickBooks, but do not paste extra customer details, such as notes or ID numbers, into QuickBooks AI chats. Give staff only the QuickBooks access their job needs.

Plan to approve: Your company QuickBooks Online account
Setting to check: Per-person logins with limited access

A line for your AI policy: Staff use QuickBooks AI only for bookkeeping tasks inside our company QuickBooks account. Customer details beyond what the task needs stay out of AI chats.

Want this in your team’s AI policy? The SafeStart kit, a plain-English AI policy and training for small teams, is coming soon.
