Is Canva AI safe for business data?
Canva says it does not use content from Teams, Business, or Enterprise accounts to improve its AI features, and lets no outside company do so; on personal accounts its privacy policy allows AI training, which you can manage in your privacy settings.
Training, plan by plan
- Depends: Free and Pro (personal accounts): possibly used: the starting setting is not stated.
- Not used for training: Teams, Business, and Enterprise: not used.

How to turn training off

- On any personal account still used for work, open your privacy settings and manage the setting for using your data to train AI. Source: canva.com

Safer setup for a small team
Do company design work in a Canva Teams or higher account, not a personal one, and keep customer lists and personal details out of designs shared by public link.
Plan to approve: Canva Teams or higher, company account
Setting to check: Designs private by default, no public links for customer data
A line for your AI policy: Staff use Canva AI only in our company Canva Teams account. Customer names, contact details, and order data stay out of designs shared by public link.
